Safeguarding Young Cricketers
Everyone is entitled to enjoy playing cricket in a safe and welcoming environment. Warfield CC supports and implements the ECB’s Safe Hands policy for safeguarding cricketers. The Club Welfare Officer, Jon Curran, is responsible for ensuring the club implements good practice to safeguard its members. All members of the junior coaching programme have been certified by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and are trained in safeguarding young cricketers. They also are certified in first aid for sports coaching by St John’s Ambulance.   We are lucky enough to have 5 ECB qualified coaches and 5 ECB qualified assistant coaches, who are involved in the Junior coaching programme. Further links to the ECB safeguarding policies can be found here and the club's policies here

Warfield Cricket Club Juniors 2017

Since forming in 2015, the Warfield CC junior section has massively exceeded all of our expectations. We were now able to provide high quality coaching to 80 junior cricketers from the Bracknell area!

In 2017, we aim to build on the successes of last year, by continuing to develop junior squads at Under 7, U9, U11, U12 (girls) & U13 age groups. To enable this, we are expanding the number of coaches at the club to six ECB Level 2 Coaches and six ECB level 1 Assistant Coaches. For more information about key events in the Junior season please scroll down below! Information on the Junior squads can be found here. If you would like to find out more about our Girls coaching set up, please click here.
